How To: Get Your Resource On
If you scroll to the end of the sidebar on your right, you will see three two links listed in an area entitled "Resources". The first link will show you all of the Salmagundi "How To" posts. Nothing really new or exciting about that, but in the future it may be helpful to have them all readily available.
The second link will download a Word Document of all of the relevant addresses and CD labels you will need for the most recent Salmagundi. Obviously, you don't have to use this exact template, and you should make sure that the information is appropriate for YOUR Salmagundi mix, but this should save you some time in formatting and whatnot. If you do choose to use this particular template, you should be aware that it prints out on Avery White Maling Labels #5160, available for quite a steal at your local Staples.
The third link will download a PDF of a cover template for the most recent Salmagundi. Again, you don't have to use this template, but for those of you who want the look of an artistic cover without, you know, doing anything, I thought I'd make it easy for you. All you have to do is download the PDF, and then tab through to each text field, fill out the form, and print up your cover. Not that you need to have an artistic cover, really! It's all about the music, after all.

Does this post make sense to y'all? Are those resources helpful? I was worried about putting people's addys online, but then realized that (1) no one here is unlisted and could be tracked down easily elsewhere if someone wanted to do such a thing, and (2) no one reads this site anyway... not even all of us! But if I wasn't being too paranoid, just let me know.

I think the mailing labels are great... looks like i'm going to be making a trip to staples
The mailing labels are great - especially for the lazy, the time-stretched, and me.
Since I'm new to all of this -- does anyone have a blank CD cover template that I could use? I actually wanted to attempt to make my own, but unfortunately don't have Photoshop or anything besides basic Microsoft apps to make the cover with...
