13: Mood Ring

Lance says:

My wife's research has been in emotional development and the perception of emotion. So, pick a mood or emotion and songs that express it. So, this is probably more about the tone of the music or lyrics itself rather than wordplay on titles or artists -- but you could take it in that direction, too. You could choose to concentrate on a single emotion or look for interesting transitions. You could do a generic "happy", "sad", "angry" or more niche areas like "jubilant" or "infatuation".

at this point i'm a maybe – as you can tell, my child's play disc is significantly late, and before i commit to another one, i should probably play catch up.

i could give you all the reasons (some legit, some less so) as to why the disc is late, but you probably don't want to hear my whining. so i won't. but it will be done. soon. and i will have a definite answer about my participation in mood ring. soon. by may 15th. promise.

A flip phone with a twist that displays a speaker's mood via an LED light embedded in the back of the phone, which changes color and brightness based on the phone's analysis of voice patterns and tones. Created by Panasonic Japan and NTT DoCoMo.

In My Dreams: A phone that tells me the caller's mood before I answer.

i can't bring myself to man up to a new disc when i still owe an old one. i'll bow out of this round, with hopes of catching up real soon.

I'm out on this one - sorry. I should get back in the swing of things once Amanda and I have moved, though.

sorry bout the lateness... who knew buying a house would eat up so much spare time!

Mine are going to be a bit late as well, as I ran out of blank CDs! The playlist and cases are finished, I just had to grab some blank CDs from work so I can burn everything this weekend. =/
