12: Child's Play

Scott says:

Whether you use songs about kids... by kids... for kids... or simply ones that remind you of what it was like when YOU were a kid, take this opportunity to indulge your childhood imagination and ignore your parents.

Amanda and I are in. We're not sure if we're doing a split disc or seperate ones...but either way we only need one from each of the rest of you.

Outlook not so good.

I may find time once I free up a little in few weeks to throw something together, but in that case I'll just post the tracks/art of the cd I would have made. I don't want to commit to doing it though while things are as hectic as they are.

Hi Koos!

Significantly less participation than last time (6 people), but still a goodly amount.

I look forward to hearing all y'all's CDs. The songs on my CD appear to be selected based on the concept of advice to our unborn (and, as yet, unconceived) child(ren).

Mine is going to be an eclectic combination of actual kid songs that I remember from my childhood, and then other songs that sort of make me nostalgic for my childhood years. I think that I'm going to have to put some explanations on some of the tracks, but I'm really looking forward to this mix!

I believe mine will end up being pretty eclectic as well... then again, seeing as I grew up surrounded by everything from opera to metal to the chad mitchell trio, I can't say i'm all that surprised...

My cd is not going to be autobiographical in any way, so don't read anything into it. :)
